It has been a while since I updated this page.  The last couple of years have been full of exciting new growth!  I published new articles with Dr. Matthew Henley, examining how engaging the Skilled Intentionality Framework in the dance classroom may increase student agency in the dance classroom (see my publications page).  I co-taught an Eastwest Shin Somatics Institute retreat with Amy Bush in Epidaurus, Greece.  I taught in Florence, Italy with FlorenceSummerDance. And the biggest news of all is that I began teaching dance at Woodside High School in Newport News, VA.  While my time at Appmattox Regional Governor's School for the Arts in Petersburg, VA was very rewarding, I am loving my new school and students.  

Up next is a trip to Albequerque, NM, where Matt and I will present our research.  I'm looking forward to sharing our work and connecting with my dance colleagues from throughout the US! I hope you will take some time to read through my recent publications!
